Soy Ana Truan. Trabajo principalmente con pintura y cerámica, aunque me gusta explorar otras técnicas y materiales. Mi obra se inspira en la naturaleza, la literatura, las vivencias de la infancia y todo lo que me rodea, imposible de ignorar.

Me gusta alterar proporciones, romper las reglas y jugar mientras creo. En mis pinturas, el color intenso y las texturas tienen un papel protagonista. Las figuras y los espacios no siguen una perspectiva realista. Animales y criaturas fantásticas nacen en divertidos mundos paralelos para mostrar otra realidad sin perder la conexión con nuestro presente.

Mi práctica artística ha convivido durante años con mi trabajo en comunicación y creatividad. Me he formado en cerámica con Lusesita y en grabado en Taller La Madriguera con Paula Bonet. He participado en exposiciones colectivas y en Hybrid Art Fair, y he pertenecido al catálogo de artistas de PLOM Gallery.

Después de vivir en Madrid y Barcelona, en 2021 me trasladé a Andalucía. Actualmente vivo en Granada.

I’m Ana Truan. I work mainly in painting and ceramics, although I enjoy exploring other techniques and materials. My work draws inspiration from nature, literature, childhood experiences and everything around me, things I find impossible to ignore.

I like to play with proportions, break the rules and have fun while creating. Vivid colour and texture play a central role in my paintings. Figures and spaces do not follow realistic perspective. Animals and fantastical creatures come to life in playful parallel worlds, revealing another reality while remaining connected to the times we live in.

For years, my artistic practice has developed alongside my work in communications and creative projects. I trained in ceramics with Lusesita and in printmaking with Paula Bonet at Taller La Madriguera. I have taken part in group exhibitions and Hybrid Art Fair, and my work has been included in PLOM Gallery’s artist roster.

After living in Madrid and Barcelona, I moved to Andalusia in 2021. I currently live in Granada.
